SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS Completes Recording New Album For 2027 Release Finished new album, not dropping until 2027. Truly fucking wild. I know it’s because of GNR and Alter Bridge, but still.
I wish I enjoyed those albums. On paper I should but they just all blend together into one long song.
Pretty bummed we are not getting Sevendust but I'll probably try make the Chicago date anyway. It's still a long time away.
Grateful that they're still at it and at such a fast pace for a band 30 years into their career. They just never stop.
The last 3 Sevendust albums were produced by Michael Baskette who worked with Alter Bridge from Blackbird onwards but those last 3 Sevendust albums were good but Cold Day Memory, Black Out The Sun and Kill The Flaw they were on fire!!
I'm revisiting Nickelback, but this time with the intention of going past All The RIght Reasons for the first time. Feed The Machine is the only one I checked out as I was so impressed by the title track at the time. The Long Road still slaps and All The Right Reasons has some jams even if it's more inconsistent. Both immediately take me back to my childhood, listening to them over and over again while having zero idea about their reputation lol.
Next Go Round is the only song I like on Dark Horse (S.E.X's bridge is nice, but the rest of the song...). They really doubled down on all the worst tropes to the point of parody, like they were catering to the lowest common denominator. A rough listen, so tacky. Here And Now is much better so far. Feels more in line with the other releases. edit: Welp, No Fixed Address has the same issues as Dark Horse.
