So is he actually back with the band? I don't think that's been confirmed yet. If it's true, it's a shame if that's why Doc Coyle and etc. left, to make room for this trash heap to return.
No, he is building a new band. Doc Coyle wants nothing to do with it. Which is fine because if that means God Forbid writes a new album all will be well in the world.
Saw Earshot last night, I forgot Aaron Fink (original guitarist from Breaking Benjamin) is playing with them. They covered So Cold. The new songs sounded great, can't wait for the new album. It's always fun for me to see those bands I love but it sucks a bit that there is barely any crowd for these shows (although this was in the middle of a lightning storm and like an hour away from Chicago).
I don't know if anyone remembers them (or even really knew them) but it's really cool that they are coming back.
I get it, but Brett has noped out of doing Fuel for good. I'm pretty sure Bell tried to keep Brett in the band but whatever beef is between the two of them wasn't something they could work out, I guess.

So I'm listening to it right now and it sounds pretty much like every other 3DG album. It's serviceable enjoyable post-grunge. I do think Gontier and Walst's voices make some nice interplay, and adds something they didn't have before. Also cool that they got Lindsey Sterling for a track.
Mildly interested in a new Starset album. Definitely more of a singles band. Vessels was pretty good.
What is the story there? I saw a Brett Scallions version of Fuel in 2012, did Bell acquire the name again?
Sounds about right. They have a different singer now. He is not bad but he sounds nothing like Brett. I think Brett still performs but under his name. Personally I would rather see Brett with some hired musicians instead of the new Fuel.
Bell always had the name. The ten years Scallions had the name, he was leasing it from Bell. My assumption is that after the lease was up, they couldn't arrive at a new agreement. Bell has gone on record that he didn't initially intend to form a new iteration but Miller convinced him to do it with the members of the band Miller was putting together.
The funny thing is the vocalist they used on Anomaly apparently isn't with the band anymore either. This band can't get their shit together.
Really? Just saw them a few weeks ago and he was there. They even played a new song from an upcoming album. Who is doing the vocals then for the tour?
Now that I'm thinking about it, that's who I saw them with. I think he was in American Idol or some other similar show.
