We're getting more Wes Scantlin, for better or worse. PUDDLE OF MUDD's WES SCANTLIN On His Upcoming Solo Album: 'It Will Possibly Bring Tears To Your Eyes'
Seems like they’re going for a more modern/commercial sound with the new stuff so far… I prefer Mayday to Apologies, at least Mayday has more of their classic sound, but neither blows me away.
My Spotify Release Radar playlist has new songs from Atomship, Greenwheel and Closure. These are all songs from new bands that have the same names of other bands from 20 years ago. This is so annoying.
Wouldn't be surprised if those are all AI generated songs. Just saw Ronald McDonald bring this up but, considering it's forbidden to link to him over here, I'll just post the content he used to make his video:
I don't think they are AI. I know Atomship released a statement saying that it's a different band. Why even choose a name like Atomship or Greenwheel, it's super specific. I'm used to seeing stuff like that on Spotify all the time with artists like Clod and Swift, which I listen to a lot.
Ah right. I assumed because it's been happening a lot with artists I follow and it's annoying. I wish acts with the same name would be differentiated better on those platforms.
I saw Cold tonight. Scooter was looking great. I've seen them like 4-5 times since they came back 7-8 years ago and tonight he was looking the best out of all of these. This is a long ass tour and they are playing 2 hours each night (2 albums back to back) and he told some stories about the songs, very grim stories. Just sharing because I was happy to see him doing so well after all the shit he has been through and me having to hear one of my favorite albums of all time live.
Glad Scooter is doing so well, Cold r a band I always wanted to see live but they have never toured over in the UK unfortunately Can't believe it's been 10 years since we had a new Fingers Eleven album!!
