Ohshitnewalbum? First Spineshank, then Blindside, now Earshot? Can this year get any better for fans of the 00s nu-metal scene? I submit that it cannot!
Suprised but at least by the statement they left on good terms though, still looking forward to seeing Godsmack live for the 3rd time on Monday in London though Shannon Larkin & Tony Rombola Have Both Quit Godsmack - Theprp.com
Well, the band is pretty much ending anyway, so why not? It sounds like they're not creatively spent. I'm intrigued to hear what they do. Maybe bring back Another Animal.
Sully mentioned a while back that Godsmack r pretty much gonna be a legacy touring band but creativity I could see Sully put out solo records going forward I mean he has 2 solo albums out so he may he done with Godsmack writing and recording wise but solo records he can definitely carry on with that. But in the statement Shannon mentioned him and Tony r already writing music together so maybe an Another Animal album in the works but I don't blame them for retiring from touring though

Hell yeah!! Loved the last 2 Bush albums and can't wait to hear the new one and seeing them live for the first time supporting Volbeat in the UK in November!!
Mostly, sometimes they veer heavier like when they were Ultraspank. They also have an acoustic/electronic side project called Life On Planet 9.
Creed, 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Filter, Etc. Booked For 2026 'Summer Of '99 And Beyond' Cruise - Theprp.com This is such a stacked lineup. I would love to see a show like this. Fucking Oleander? Hell yeah.
Well, first and foremost, I hope Wes gets his life in order. It seemed like he was doing so well for a while, but he's clearly backslid, and that's a shame. My feelings on Puddle Of Mudd vary. I was never a huge fan of their trashier singles like "Control" and "She Hates Me" so I was dismayed when they seemed to be heading further in that direction for a time. 4 for example is a ridiculously trashy album and I do not like most of it. The best song from those recordings is a b-side called "Crowsfeet" and it's ridiculous that it didn't make the cut. Wes is much better when he writes stuff that's a little more thoughtful, like "Blurry" of course, but off the first album "Drift And Die" and "Nobody Told Me" are great cuts. Life On Display had a bunch of that too, I feel. Not like... real great lyrically, but it suffices for the music and it's fun to listen to. "Time Flies" is a good ass song. And then when they came back after so long with Welcome To Galvania, I was happy because it sounded like they mostly got back to sounding like the first two albums again, even revisiting some material from their early days, which was a nice surprise. This though? Sounds like they're backsliding into trash again.
