I kind of agree. I could care less about the " Jedi bad! No! Jedi good! " stuff with the twins. The cool ass Sith stuff is what is keeping me locked in.
I've been playing the new Star Wars card game (I'm that guy) and was reminded tonight that nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans pulled a Vader from a pack and that's a $63 card so worth it
my partner ordered 4 boxes (not packs or decks) because he's adamant on building a Jabba deck. we're going to our prerelease event on Saturday and will also pick up some of the new starter decks.
I won’t do a CCG, but the Star Wars Deckbuilding game is pretty awesome. It’s all self contained, and they’re releasing a Clone Wars standalone later this year.
yep! went to a draft, some guy pulled a showcase Krennic which is uh expensive: hell yeah, I'm going to a prerelease on Sunday myself. Love doing sealed events.
only showcase i've ever seen someone pull in person is Chirrut Îmwe. given that we're getting 4 boxes, i'm hopeful we'll find one (and hopefully one that's mechanically good).
i liked this one. not to the extent that i did last week's episode, but i like the direction it's heading in. my partner is theorizing that Vernestra and Qimir might've had a master/apprentice relationship judging by the scar on his back and her concern when she mentioned "something to tip the scales". surprised i didn't catch that possibility previously.
depends on how you define bathing. closest i can think of was the whole baptism/redemption arc in Mando S3
I don’t have any real connection to Legends, but I’m hoping that Qimir is Darth Venamis after being ditched (and scarred) by Darth Tenebrous, in favor of another apprentice…
Definitely my favorite ep outside of last week. Feels like those first four just don’t match up to 5 and 6.
lol I’m not talking about ceremonies or healing. I’m talking about “man what a tough few days of sith’in around, my hair is starting to hurt. Let me grab that conditioner real quick” bathing.
Great episode. That last shot was intense. I’m definitely thinking Vernestra is somehow more deeply involved in something. Also really loved seeing her lightwhip in action.
