Much better than the live version but hopefully it grows on me more.

    This is promising.

I don't really like any individual aspect of this song that much, but the whole thing altogether just feels good.

While I know I shouldn't scroll through social media first thing in the morning, it sure was nice to see this album announcement at the top of my feed. I'm just happy and shocked by the fact that we're getting new music from this band at all, much less a whole album. This was the most welcome music surprise for me for 2026, and I'm excited to hear the full thing. I LOVE the album title and this is going to make the upcoming Almost Here 20th anniversary show even sweeter for me.

Preordered so fast. Can't believe I'm getting a new album / tour from my favorite band from college, and new album / tour from my current favorite that hasn't been active in four years at the same time.

    The season is never over.

Will check out the rest based on the single.

My immediate take was it reminds me of the vibe of when helloogoodbye put out Would It Kill You. Not trying to reach the heights of their heyday, but a stellar release from a band I love. I would be so happy if this is what this new TAI album is.

Also agree that this is way better on record than it seemed live. I think maybe just being able to hear the lyrics better, it's not quite as on the nose nostalgia as I assumed it was when I couldn't make it all out. Not going to say I'm floored, but it definitely does the job and has me hyped to hear the rest of the album!

2nd verse lyrics are diabolical. Find the song disappointing, love the debut but not going to stick with this track, nostalgia alone not enough for me these days.

Love the visual aesthetics at play here. Goes together so nicely with this sound which is not necessarily what they’re known for. I’m very excited to hear something “pretty” and not just a retread of Almost Here (Santi truther over here).

Kinda reminds of Forcefield era Tokyo Police Club, enjoy the vibes of the song! Excited for the album

    The sword and the faith.

Thank you for making me feel less isolated and insane.

Every time a beloved band comes back and does something underwhelming I end up being the lone person in a thread who isn't thrilled while everyone else raves and makes me feel like I'm in bizzaro world.

Song is not it, hoping album is better but Jason's post has me terrified.

Album’s fantastic. Doesn’t sound like their debut, but if SILYM is all you want, I’m not sure how much in common we got.

Eternal Youth is my favorite album from them so you win some and lose some I guess

  23. Unsure where I'd rank it these days, but it's a great one! Been loving how many of these bands are coming back and expanding on their sound and spanning into their whole catalog while showing their current influences too. (Fast Times has ended up being my favorite TAI album after all these years and I wouldn't have said that on release.)

I’m a SANTI guy. It was so unique in the fueled by ramen hysteria and their TAI tv stuff was so fun and funny around that time. I like all their albums and I’m glad they’re putting out new music. Saw almost here when they came back at riot and it was awesome. I was a little bored to see they did another anniversary tour last year. Very glad they’re an active band again.

Santi is their best IMO, and while I paid roughly $50 for the Almost Here album tour, I would pay three times that for a full Santi show. They deserved so much more from that album cycle.
