This is pretty cool. It always seemed a bummer that all these reviews that have pull quotes on wiki pages got ethered.
The last thing I did before logging off the last time was save copies of all the reviews my band got on the site. So many blogs and shit that we got covered on back then just vanished forever.
I find in the age of streaming to not care so much when something leaks, I’ll hear it eventually so no biggie.
Man, I remember wanting to post in the VG thread but I was so damn intimidated by the close knit clique in there so I didn’t bother, plus I didn’t want to deal with Marroset(?). I used to download albums song by song off Morpheous, only to find half the songs are fake, then when I finally found all 12+ songs from the album (obviously at different bitrates, as I realized later in life),I would burn them to a CD and print out a customized CD label from my home CD label maker. Yeah I'm old
