I started posting in 2005 when I was 15 years old. It’s so weird to think about how much I grew up on AP. I said and did so many dumb things and got shit on so many times. But then I also met so many amazing people that I still talk to all the time.
I don't know if that dude ever posted after that. Juliana something. There were a couple people with Juliana names
The homepage currently has 4 "absolutepunk.net" images you can see at once at the top of the page, AP IS BACK
More interviews updated today, including baby All Time Low and that epic Saosin interview, as well as some classic reviews: AbsolutePunk.net Review Archive
I think most of my iconic memories aren’t so much forum related (I posted a lot but didn’t really connect with a lot of users) but I have a lot of memories about major album leaks or like I can remember when MCR put out “I’m not okay” and people went berserk for it. I remember when Where You Want to Be leaked. I remember Senses Fail getting dragged for Let it Enfold You. Tom posting about AVA. Etc etc.
Always got a laugh out of the “where’s my submission credit” posters, haha. Like I’m pretty sure the AP.net staff was not relying on your tip to find out Green Day posted a new song or whatever
except sometimes you would be at a show and the band would mention that they are working on a new album so you had that *exclusive* news drop to report hahaha
