Yes I’m moving right by the rapid rail station and all kinds of bike trails in Atlanta. I actually don’t have a car right now lol so this move is necessary.

Well that's good! I've never liked driving in Atlanta, so I'd avoid that if possible! When do you actually move out there?

We're ranging about $2.50-3 a gallon right now and by mid summer it usually increases another .20 cents

    Saturday!!

I learned how to drive in Washington DC and have driven in Atlanta a couple of times. I can for certain say that DC was much worse haha.

Atlanta’s traffic is exactly what you expect for a city that size. They were smart and got out in front of their population growth when they built their highways

Most of DC’s workforce lives in northern Virginia and there are only two highways into the city. I-95 and I-66. Atlanta’s main highways are 7-8 lanes, those ones are 3-4. And then the city itself is not an efficient “grid” at all.

I think my tank is about 9.8 gallons and it can usually get me around 350 miles so it is somewhat decent

I only ever go to work or the movies tbh

That's exciting! I wish you luck there. I have a soft spot for the city given I spent a couple weeks there every summer with relatives while I was young.

I've really only just driven between the airport to Canton/Woodstock, which wasn't the worst. I just don't like city driving.

This is gonna sound so first world problems but back in September my car got rear ended for the 3rd time in 2 years and they decided to just total it and I ended up getting some money from my insurance company for a new car. I had been hearing that Subaru was making a hybrid but couldn't find any information at the time when it was going to be released and I had been wanting a Subaru for years they're like the cheapest all-wheel drive car out there in Colorado. I had a rental car for like a month before I actually got the check from my insurance company and by that time it was looking like the hybrid wasn't happening until Spring 2019 so I was like well that sucks but I do have to get a new car now so I got a Crosstrek and then about a week after I paid for my cars registration they released the hybrid lmao

I feel that hahahaha when I got my Sonata way back they released a Sonata hybrid right after I got mine

This current car was released a month before my Sonata got totaled so the timing couldn't have been better
