It's not the worst shit ever or anything, I just think you and everyone else should adjust your expectations if you want to avoid a mess. In all fairness, I'm far from the biggest monster movie buff

Well aight man. Hope you see it and completely disagree with what I've said. Kudos to whoever finds more enjoyment in it than I did

 

I need to figure out my life aka my old lady legs. My legs are always so achey and tired. I'm elevating them rn like I just ran 9 miles but I didn't. They just get so tired and I feel like I'm slowly becoming paralyzed or something!!


Also they gave me a certification packet if I'm for real about fostering that lil boy and I want to but I also don't wanna get in over my head and make it worse idk. I think I could parent him well but working full time and being essentially a single mom to a severely traumatized child during summer vacay where he'd prob scare away all the babysitters is an Issue lol. Also I guess I should ask my landlord first and also figure out who my landlord is...

 

What about it ultimately disappointed you about it?

 

Disappointed isn't quite the word, I had modest expectations before catching wind of early-ish reviews right before watching it. Mainly, a lot of it felt like a bit of a slog. I felt the energy draining from the theater with roughly a half hour left of the film to go. And the human characters (which evidently I wasn't supposed to expect much from) were boring as hell. I cared for none of the people. But again, that's not what everyone's paying to see
