Yeah, not something you can't buy again though. If anything their prices probably went down.

I got so lucky, when I tried it out at a Guitar Center and fell in love with it, the floor model was the only one they had left. So, because it was already out of the box and already had been used, I haggled the price down a lot. Got it for $400 when the price tag said $650.

 

Thought chase was like 25 or younger lol

 

I normally hate Black Friday but at Guitar Center it's so worth it. You can get deals like that on just about anything.

I got the matched pair and stands for them for $500 total on Black Friday.

 

It's probably different now that the company is going under, but back then they used to tell their employees during holiday season "just ask a manager, make some deals. Just get the sale done."

Honestly, I am a deal HAWK when it comes to music gear.

My PDP drumset? $100.

It was just stacked up in my friend's roommate's basement, collecting dust, really old / bad drum heads, tuning pegs missing (those are easy to replace), etc. I offered him $100 on the spot and left with it that day.

Decent drumsets cost at LEAST $600 new.

I bought a bass amp & bass guitar used for $650 total, and I just sold them for $700 lol. I get shit so cheap that I can sell it for a profit if I need to.
