I’m just saying like I could say Ridley Scott sucks but does he? He’s obviously made some great films but his current era isn’t very strong so I think it would be kinda silly of me to say a blanket statement that he sucks when he does have strong suites. Same with Wes. You don’t have to like his movies but saying he sucks ignores a lot of the technical skill that he has honed over the past couple decades, for example.

I don’t see an issue with that at all. I think just saying he sucks is a vague blanket statement that doesn’t have merit
