I basically only cook with beans when I'm making Mexican or Tex-Mex. I made a lamb shank that was braised in red wine & black beans, sauteed with baby vegetables that blew my damn mind. I saw it on No Reservations or maybe The Layover or one of Bourdain's shows and I had to make it. He was in Mexico. I'm googling the episode now and I can't find it.
