If you have the time, salt your meat way before cooking it and let it air-dry in the fridge. I like your point, but even if you salt the meat, I think it’s still worthwhile to season the flour and/or egg wash. Season it all. If you feel like you’re wasting seasoning, try reducing the amount of flour or egg wash you prep so that there’s very little leftover. Then you’re not wasting the seasoning as much.

Agreed. Tyler Florence definitely has some of the best recipes on the Food Network’s website. He really helped me get better as a cook. I miss his show, Tyler’s Ultimate.

My brother in law is getting his other hip replaced this week and I want to surprise them by having their room decorated when he gets back because he'll be bed ridden for a while and my sister will be his caregiver. I'm not sure what all to do tho. I want to include some good self care things but also like I've never had a hip replaced so idk what's helpful.

 

I don’t normally drink so this probably isn’t a wise decision on their part.

Decorations are nice and I’m certain they will be greatly appreciated, but things to keep him busy (if he doesn’t have any) will be more important to him.

 

lol. just like a normal heating pad for pain, but I use to have one you could microwave that worked wonders. i'm not a wordsmith
