A few different ones!! So I got the bag and ramen towel and postcard in a store next to Kinokuniya, the Pokemon stuff was from a store on the second level of where the Daiso is. The Bulbasaur plushie was from a random store somewhere in the mall.

 

I kinda hate cliche Xmas episodes of shows where someone does something nice and selfless because it's ~christmas. Like that's cool and all but like... We could also just be nice every day

 

Note to self:

Chicken thighs do NOT thaw as quickly as chicken breasts because the higher fat content. Fat takes longer to thaw than tissue.

I'm so used to saying "not today, anxiety" that sometimes I psyche myself into not being anxious when I really should haha

Shutting down to avoid my anxiety usually turns into me not being proactive about solving my problems so it's hard to find a happy medium

At my old job, if I closed, there was a good 60-70% chance I'd have ONE table that stays 45 minutes after every other table in the restaurant was gone. Even when they see me sweeping, cleaning, and then just standing there after I'm done with all my closing work.

Often they'd be done eating 15 mins after close, but then sit and fuckin talk for 30 minutes. Especially if it's a dude trying to get laid. And we were directly on Jacksonville's Riverwalk with some of the nicest views of the city, so it's not like they would have to finish their conversation in the parking lot.

Got the whole fuckin world and all fuckin day to get to know your date and you choose to do it in a closed restaurant. Fuck that.

hahah, he's actually pretty indifferent since we like a lot of the same things and I do most the cooking

I can only blame myself. My diet today:
-coffee, eggs with hot sauce, and hashbrowns with jalapenos at Waffle House
-a mini Italian sub complementary at my job's orientation
-chips and salsa when I came home
-4 beers
-4 pepperoncinis
-Spaghetti-O's (lot of tomato sauce)

Literally ALL OF THAT except for the sub is purely acidic (and the grease in salami / pepperoni doesn't exactly help the stomach). I deserve an ulcer.
