    Hey I liked Hamnet

I don't think I would put it over Bugonia or Train Dreams, but it was certainly better than Frankenstein imo.

  4. It’s good but I get why anyone wouldn’t like it

That last scene with the play rocked and it made me cry.

I will be honest about The Oscars. Maybe it's the "most important" of all the big awards, but it's never really the most fun to watch. Golden Globes are always more entertaining ceremonies imo.

People looking like they're genuinely having a good time. Fun loose vibes. Decent bits. The Globes are always known as the "fun drunk celebrity award show"

Oscars everyone is weighed down by the importance and seriousness of it all. More awkward stiff vibes.

Idk historically, and I don’t watch the globes or Emmy’s but last years Oscar’s with Conan were fun

I totally get people who feel like Agnes is just defined by her grief versus any other characteristics and had a hard time connecting

  11. The worst thing about the Oscar’s is the song performances

Especially because there is always one or two songs everyone is hyped for, then 3 or 4 nobody really gives a shit about.

Oscars vibes so weird and awkward that actors be punching the host in the face and then win Best Actor less than an hour later.

  14. Sooooo many examples of that happening

I admittedly get emotional during speeches at the Oscar’s when you can tell they’re genuinely stunned and grateful. I don’t remember ever tearing up at any other award show speech.

in a perfect world Resurrection would be nominated for cinematography, but it is what it is. 100% my favorite film of last year.
