Why wasn't Chu nominated last time? Were they thinking to nominate him for the second one for the accomplishment of both films? I haven't seen it, or the musical, but I heard the second half isn't nearly as good as the first. If that's the case, it's like they set him up for failure. I'm not saying he deserves it over anyone else who was nominated just bc he's Asian. I just think the first one was so loved last awards season, it's weird he wasn't in the running
I’ve tried watching K-Pop Demon Hunters on 3 different occasions but have thrown in the towel (or just like, paused and not resumed) somewhere between the 15-25 minute marks each time. Great animation, the music is really just not for me
I liked F1. It's no Top Gun: Maverick but vroom vroom. Way worse movies have been nominated in recent years. It's just a bummer it took a spot that should have went to Avatar: Fire and Ash, Weapons, It Was Just An Accident or even No Other Choice
