And the Live Aid thing is interesting. Definitely impressive from a technical standpoint, but they butcher the set up and ending a movie with what’s essentially a concert just reinforces to me they wanted to make a feature length music video.
That’s almost worse. Like everyone knows that he shouldn’t be rewarded but not enough to actually do anything about it.

No. It’s a fine movie. If this dumb awards show didn’t exist/nominate it people wouldn’t talk about it at all. Not hated, but not beloved.

I turn off *very* few movies. I turned it off. I found it unwatchable in a “this is a bad tv show” kind of way. (And fuck Brian Singer.)
