  2. Rami was good.

Short Term 12 produced the hell out of some actors

Gary Oldman being there right before Bryan Singer’s film wins another award is almost as on the nose as Green Book to Spike Lee.

  12. Speaking of Short Term 12, Lakeith was snubbed. That entire film was snubbed.

I like the guy, but it seemed like a sketch show impersonation. Haven’t seen Vice yet, but get the same vibe from what I’ve seen of Bale. Cooper at least felt human and got something out of me. Definitely weak category this year with the choices they gave.

Couldn't William H Macy have somehow won this for something?

I said it the other day, of the nominees it should have gone to Cooper, without a second's hesitation, but John David Washington should've been there and should've won.

    Ethan Hawke too.

A cool note is three of the four acting awards went to POC (with an outside chance of 4/4).

  18. Yeah but you try and put in those teeth and not look like a way too long SNL skit ... that’s Oscar worthy!

(Heh. This award won’t age well at all.)

The acting in that viral clip is just as bad as the editing.

Also yeeeesssss to Short Term 12. John Gallagher Jr. is one of my favorites.

Rami/Live Aid scene was the only redeeming part. So far no surprises in actor categories

Rami is a good actor but that performance was not that special

This is the real issue, those two should’ve easily been in the running and probably one of the winners.

At least the final season of Mr. Robot can advertise that it stars "Academy Award Winner Rami Malek" now, right?

I'm looking for silver linings here.
