Agreed! Some of the winners aren’t what I would be rooting for but the nominees are great. Would like to see more Roma in there too, but it’s still worlds above the Oscars. I usually love their list.

It might be a longshot but if you know a friend with cable, you could have them Skype it to you. That's what I did for my then-girlfriend in 2016.

I have enough time to watch one nominee movie I haven’t seen yet. My options are the ones from streaming services: Roma, Minding The Gap, Ballad of Buster Scruggs, RBG, Incredibles 2. I’m thinking I should probably go with Roma?

just watched Roma; i wasn't totally on-board for the first half/two thirds but by the end i was fully invested. truly beautiful film. got me hoping Cuaron takes home Best Cinematography
