completely agree. and it would drive me nuts people saying Gosling's performance wasn't interesting. he was being Neil, very reserved. and not even a nom for Claire Foy?? she was fantastic. gonna pick it up in 4k today and watch it on my projector while I wallow in my frustration haha

 

I’m honestly upset Johansson’s score isn’t in there for Mandy and hereditary didn’t get anything while green book got 10 noms, but besides that....

Yeah it’s a mess I can’t defend this

Pulling for Roma, favourite, and a star is born. Suspirium for song, Hurwitz for score, and annihilation for sound were huge snubs in my opinion. Also, driver over Chalamet is a big no for me. Glad Melissa McCarthy got the nom though.

Surprised at how many people enjoyed BlackkKlansman, honestly.

 

Johansson wasn’t eligible, Mandy didn’t play in theaters long enough before VOD or some dumb bullshit

 

I thought Won't You Be My Neighbor would get a doc nom for sure. Was hoping for a Three Identical Strangers nom as well.

 

This makes sense but it still upsets me so much, I listen to that soundtrack like a record. My girlfriend and I are now on hour two of complaining about these nominees, and it really doesn’t seem like we’re stopping anytime soon.
