can Million Dollar Baby and Crash not be Best Picture anymore too while we're at it

 

Was he the guy holding the award in that clip that got posted? The one guy who was like "we lost by the way" seemed (understandably) pissed but the other one held it together really well.

 

I haven't seen either film. lol. pretty funny though.

 

I was rooting for moonlight for sure but holy shit I never though they'd pull a Steve Harvey lol. I can't believe that happened. Poor La la land crew "we lost!"

 

The four year streak continued though in a way. The guy who didn't deserve it won.

La La Land was not terrible by any means. It was an exceptionally well-made film that was fun and uplifting and had some great music in it. But compared to Moonlight, well, it just doesn't stack up. That's all.

 

did Leo give Faye and Warren the same envelope????? what the fuck happened??????

 

In addition to Barry Jenkins being the better far, far better director, it would have been nice to keep the streak of non-white directors winning alive, considering it promotes diversity and also a black man has never won Best Director before, ever.
