all of these are classic jams. so good! especially st elmo's fire. i've always loved that song.

 

I am a sucker for a lot of '80s pop music. I love the early drum machines and the liberal use of sax.

Before "The Japanese House" came on stage tonight, as their instruments were getting prepped, they were playing over the house sound system several songs from the "Hats" album by The Blue Nile - I was totally groovin' out the whole time, just feelin' it

 

Think I'm going to have to buy that Blue Nile album

 

Tinseltown in the Rain happens to be in my playlist, I love it.

 

Is it modern band? Sounds cool.

 

Yeah it's all been produced recently, but all his stuff has a very 80's aesthetic. Makes me nostalgic for a time I never experienced
