Its Irri, one of Dany’s first Dothraki handmaidens and closest friends in the first two seasons DUH. Her death actually got filmed but ended up as a deleted scene on the DVD extras, so in the show we don’t see what happens to her we just see Danny finding her dead before shouting her catch phrase, “where are my dragons?!”
Oh, right. That was definitely a thing that happened. Still over the moon for Phoebe. I had some hopes that it would pull a few upsets, but practically sweeping is so amazing. They did surprisingly well at not blowing things, until the end. Reminds me of this years Oscars.
What makes me even more mad about tonight is The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (best ep of the season) wasn’t nominated for writing, but those other meh episodes were...
Yyyyep. D&D didn’t write that episode though so of course it didn’t get the nom. Gwen in that episode alone should have won her the award tonight, she was awesome in it.
Winners and presenters aside, the ceremony itself was pretty terrible. So many odd choices all around.
I love The Good Place and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but Fleabag is on another level, and I'm so happy it's getting so much recognition.
Didn't watch the Emmys, but it was entertaining to read through this thread ha. Fleabag and Phoebe winning Bill Hader winning Bradley Whitford winning for his role in Handmaid's Tale Simpsons winning over BoJack or Adventure Time Honestly didn't think GoT would win Best Drama ( I mostly really liked the final season). Probably should've gone to BCS. Can we all agree that GoT absolutely deserved Outstanding Main Title Design, though? Glad to see Chernobyl won best Limited Series, though it's really tough for me to pick between that and Sharp Objects. Wish Jared Harris would've won best actor though.
