I wish I liked Fleabag as much as everyone else. Couldn’t get into it.

And yes yes yes yes this is all I wanted!!! I’m so happy!! The only thing that would have been better is Andrew Scott getting nominated/winning, because that is the snub of the night.

They’ve put as much energy into this acceptance speech as they did the writing for the final season

 

Rushed through Fleabag seasons 1 and 2 last month and loved it, totally happy for tonight’s wins

 

Both of these things happened so I honestly can’t be upset.

 

An upset in every goddamn category tonight but they can't give Drama series to the show that actually deserves it

 

Oh hey remember that time when those two guys thought making a show about slavery would be a good idea?

 

It’s incredible, and it’s also super short. Like the entire thing is less than 6 hours or so. It doesn’t remind me of a huge amount of shows because of certain aspects of it, but it’s a mix of comedy and drama with a lot of focus on grief and personal failing/trying to do better. Goes from over the top funny and ridiculous to super beautiful, relatable, and soul crushing and then back again without ever feeling like mood whiplash. Season one is wonderful but season two is on another level entirely.
