I'll update this post with a link after it goes live. Emmy Nominations: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Tops Noms, With Netflix & HBO Leading Way – Full List
What are your longshot hopes for nominations? I would absolutely love to see Killing Eve and Sandra Oh/Jodie Comer get a nomination. It has been my favorite show of the year by far. I'd also really like to see noms for The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. (Also this is a reminder that season 7 of Game of Thrones is eligible for this year's awards in case anyone forgot lol)
Oustanding Drama is pretty dire outside of The Americans and The Handmaid’s Tale. At least throw Killing Eve or something other than mediocre genre shows in there.
Nice to see American Vandal slipped in with a writing nom Pretty standard nominations this year. A few nice surprises and a lot of boring safe picks. Nothing truly egregious.
SANDRA OH! I’m so happy she got a nom. I had no idea the last season of Orphan Black was eligible for this year lol but excited for TMas regardless.
One's I love: - Hader for Best Actor in Comedy - Letitia Wright for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie - Zazie Beetz for Supporting Actress in Comedy - No Jimmy Fallon in Outstanding Variety Talk Series - Drunk History in Outstanding Variety Sketch Series - USS Callister (Black Mirror) in Outstanding TV Movie I don't get how Baymax Returns is under Outstanding Animated Series but not under Outstanding Children's Program though. haha
I’m disappointed Noah Schnapp didn’t get nominated for his work in Stranger Things last year. I was really hoping he’d get more attention for it. He was unbelievable.
Awesome to see Donald with four nominations again and amazing to see Bill Hader get such great recognition, Barry really deserves it. I'm actually super happy with the nominations this year aside from Alison Brie being snubbed
The comedy supporting actor category is so stacked and I’m gonna be absolutely pissed when Alec Baldwin wins for his shitty Trump impression
Pulling for The Americans and Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel! Also hoping Atlanta comes away with some wins.
