Drama Series - Emmy Voter Reveals Brutally Honest Ballot: 'Westworld' Is "Pretentious Bullshit," 'This Is Us' Had Me "in Tears"

 

Hot take: I think the nominations for best drama are kind of embarrassing this year. Handmaids Tale and Better Call Saul are both good, but i wouldn't consider either one outstanding. And I think This is Us will probably win, which is sad.

 

Drag Race for all the Emmys.

 

House of Cards has no business being nominated for Drama Series. Haven't seen The Handmaid's Tale yet, but I watched all the others and enjoyed them. The Leftovers wasn't nominated, so it doesn't even matter ha.

 

It won for Host for a Reality/Reality-Competition Program; Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming; and Picture Editing for a Structured or Competition Reality Program.

 

Best Reality Competition Series is still needed.

So happy for Donald. Hopefully that's a sign of a good night for the show, but I think Veep will probably sweep the other comedy awards.

 

I still have a deep hatred of Veep winning over Parks and Rec.
