I watched GoT this season and definitely enjoyed it. But the writing is far and away the weakest part for me. Definitely not thrilled with that win.
So, yeah, "The Battle of the Bastards" was an exceptionally well-directed episode of television but come on, how is any other show supposed to compete with that? It's almost not even fair. And Game of Thrones does not deserve Best Drama Series.
I'm so happy about the recognition for the Creative Arts Emmys. Hoping one day i'll win one!! Definitely flailing a bit over a production designer being brought out. Also go Maggie Smith!
Nothing to be embarrassed about. It doesn't deserve to win. And this is from someone who adores both the show and the books.
Jonathan Banks better win this. Dinklage will win, but come on. Also, pumped to see Michael Kelly in the mix there. I've always thought he was one of the best parts of House of Cards. EDIT: Wow. Just...wow. Ben Mendelsohn? Bloodline wasn't even that good in season 2.
I saw Garry Marshall last year at a taping of The Odd Couple... He came up and spoke to the audience and answered questions. It was such a surreal moment, something i'll always remember.
