Random thoughts after going through the full list. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and especially Rachel Bloom not being nominated for any of the "big" categories is a travesty. But very happy that they got four nods in other categories. I'm so over Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory. Also I do not understand the continual nominations for Claire Danes or Emilia Clarke (especially when the latter is going against two much stronger actors in the category). Honestly I would have loved to see Michelle Dockery in there. Documentary Now! being in for variety sketch is hilarious. Proud of Mulaney for getting writing and I'm super glad that Key & Peele got so many.
Out of the 3 People vs OJ Simpson actors that are nominated for "Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie" I'm hoping Sterling K Brown gets it. His performance as Chris Darden was one of my favorite things about that season. Unfortunately i have a feeling it's going to go to Travolta.
Reading through this made me more excited than I'd like to admit. I'm so happy American Crime got nominated, even though it has nothing compared to People vs OJ. Also really happy for John Mulaney that his special got nominated for best writing. And making a murderer! Interesting.
Peter Macnicol has Emmy nomination revoked. Emmy Awards: ‘Veep’ Star Peter MacNicol Disqualified as Guest Actor
seems like a dumb rule. the guy probably had like 5 minutes of total screen time in those five episodes.

Nice to see Archer and Mr. Robot win their respective categories. A little surprised Robot Chicken won over AT and SU, though I haven't watched it in years so I can't really compare. Laurie Metcalf should have won best Guest Actress in a Drama. Didn't know she was nominated for both Drama and Comedy categories, so that's something.
So for tonight I got: GoT for Outstanding Drama series Veep for Outstanding Comedy series American Crime Story:People vs OJ Simpson for Outstanding Limited series Last Week Tonight for Outstanding Variety-Talk Documentary Now! for Outstanding Variety-Sketch All The Way for Outstanding TV Movie American Ninja Warrior for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program For some of the acting categories i'm not sure, but I think Rami Malek is taking Actor-Drama, Sarah Paulson and Courtney B Vance are taking both the lead acting in a Limited Series/TV movie noms, and Bokeem Woodbine is taking Supporting Actor in a Limited Series/TV movie.
Don't think I'm gona watch, but rooting for Mr. Robot, Fargo and somehow for You're The Worst to get the love it deserves
would be remarkable if You're The Worst won without being nominated but Gretchen is really good at PR
