Matty Healy announced at The 1975 show last night the band will be taking a hiatus from touring after their upcoming run of shows:

We love coming to this place and playing for you guys whenever we have the chance, and it’s wonderful you’re all here. After this tour we will be going on an indefinite hiatus of shows so it’s wonderful to have you guys with us tonight.

Love this band and always put them in a league of their own musically but Matty's been on a string of eyebrow raising actions and quotes, most recently with the Twitter/X joke/fiasco which caused him to delete his account. Seems like he's getting further and further out there; we'll see if this hiatus hurts or helps.

He was a mess at Lollapalooza the performance was pretty disappointing compared to the past times I have saw them. Glad I still got tickets to this tour though.

I’m guessing so. He was carrying around a bottle of wine and a flask at the same time.
