Think I'm going to my first red rocks show! 100% getting floor for Cleveland. Their first time here since 2014 :') (Kent doesn't count) No Detroit probably means they're playing Mo Pop which is great for me since I've gone the last two years.
I thought the rumor was that they were going to do 2 shows in the first place so I wouldn't be surprised
This would be amazing for me because I'm seeing Andrew McMahon on May 27th and two shows in the city on weeknights is not ideal lol
The lineup is pretty hit or miss for me usually. In hindsight I always say “wow that lineup is actually pretty good” but when it’s announced I’m usually like “yeah... no thanks not for that price” but then I end up really enjoying a lot of artists just a few months down the road. RTJ and Foster the People in 2017 are prime examples for me. They’re two of my favorite artists now, but when MoPop was coming around all I cared about was their singles.
I've done Mo Pop twice, both single days, for Foster the People/Run the Jewels in 2017, and The National/St. Vincent in 2018. Both were fun days, but I didn't have a TON to do throughout the day. If 1975 headlines though that's a big get and would legitimately have me more excited.
So, as stated elsewhere.... Theres no Boston date listed, yet that Memorial Day Weekend is wide open. Expect them for Boston Calling.
