I don't think they'd be in the parking lot. I can't remember how many bands were in the amphitheater the year that I went, but I would think everyone announced today except K. Flay and Warpaint would be in there, and they'll announce two or three more bands for the parking lot later. I could be wrong though.

Looks like the top 5 bands were amphitheater, and the bottom 5 were parking lot. Sum 41 is #6 on the line up this year.

 

Yeah, you're right. Looking back at the 2015 lineup, it was the same thing. For some reason I remembered there being more bands both outside and inside. Sum 41 still seems too big for the parking lot stage to me, but based on the pattern it does seem like they'll be outside.

 

I agree that they seem too big. I would love it if they do play parking lot, though.

 

Actually, Live Nation has Sum 41 listed as #5. They could be the first band to play in the amphitheater.

im looking at buying tickets for the milwaukee date, anyone who has been in the eagles ballroom is it worth it to spend the extra money for balcony?

 

I have been to the Eagles Ballroom a few times (actually saw The 1975 there last year), but I have never been in the balcony. The floor is enormous there, though, so it isn't always easy to get up close without arriving super early. Being that I'm on the shorter side, I don't always have the best view from the floor at the Eagles Ballroom.

 

Pale Waves announced as the opener. Cool.

 

Literally anything has to be better than 070 Shake, right?

I hope they do something special for that.

I am!! and I'm sure they will. Being on the 1st of June after all, and being MSG. Can't wait for the trip to NYC!

 

Wouldn't be surprised if they played the album in full.

 

That'd be sweet. I know they mentioned that they wanted to at one point...might be the only way I'll ever get to hear This Must Be My Dream at this point.

 

Set for the Mexico shows looks to be about the same as last fall in the US, but if I recall correctly they didn't unveil a new set last time until the first US show.

If nobody gets one on Saturday I'll report back with one Monday night.

 

Yeah in the fall they toured Mexico right before kicking off the US leg, but they used their old setlist and unveiled the new one with the start of the US shows. Hope they're doing the same thing because I'm really hoping for a different set!

They did start playing The City again these past few shows.

 

Hoping for a new set too. Really want to hear "Ballad" and "Robbers" in the same set list.

I've also thought about how cools it'd be for them to open with "Sex"
