    there's a gap in the middle of their european tour for firefly, they're a big enough band to fly over just to play a fest, haha

    Things have changed.

    Didn't they do it last year?

    Crazy that they're playing a 1,700 cap venue and then MSG the next night

    I keep saying I'm gonna stop going because the crowds keep getting worse, but I'm willing to bet I'll be at one or both of the austin shows.

    I haven't seen them since 2012 and it was the worst crowd so I can't imagine how bad it is. I just had cell phones in my face or blocking my view the entire show

    @maybevictor Prestigious

    The last venue I saw them at in dallas is a bad venue in general because it fits 4000 people but has a house of blues type layout, but the amount of crying fans and just flat out inconsiderate people was overwhelming. Band had to stop their set a few times to ask people to chill out.
    Hopefully the more adult venue / fact that this is on a school night makes it better.

    But yeah, the crowd is very different from their 2012 / debut album cycle crowds, but the live show is just as good if not better.

    I've been dying to see them again, but hopefully the crowd doesn't ruin my experience

    Going to call a Chicago date on 5/20 for the q101 piqniq. They were just teasing an announcement in a couple weeks, and the dates line up almost too perfectly with this tour. I can't really see them coming back to Lolla this year, and I don't think they fit that well with Riot or Pitchfork, so I don't know why else they would skip Chicago.

    The album finally grew on me, and now I want to experience the songs lives. However, that's the worst possible day for me. Sad!

    As a pretty casual fan of the 1975, this is actually a pretty ideal situation for me. I'll get to see them for a reasonable price and with a bunch of other bands. So the only question left is who else will be playing
