Yeah I'm assuming no track list because they're not even close to done with the album according to interviews. Would be a really nice surprise though!

I feel like any time a music publication teases something huge it’s usually just an article and not a song haha

Unless they’re premiering a song there. Figure it’d be too soon though. It’s definitely gonna be an article haha. Maybe it’s going to name a few songs and speak about them.

As much I’d love a song, it’s not their thing to just drop songs with zero promo on social media.

Ha yeah there’s no countdown in sight rn so it’s 100% an article.

Um, the biggest take away from this is Phoebe Bridgers possibly being on Notes.

Surely if it was gonna happen by now it would've happened? Maybe they've peaked in terms of popularity.

Love It If We Made it is their second highest charting song on the alternative charts (#6; Somebody Else made it to #5). It's Not Living hit the top 20. People just hit the top 40 as well.
Obviously that's not the Hot 100, but I think they're doing alright, lol.

And that's nothing to say that they're only 30, lots of bands hit their commercial peak later in their career

description of 2 songs on notes below

”...there’s the dusky, acoustic “The Birthday Party,” and “Frail State of Mind,” a 2step-driven slice of pop recalling UK producer Burial with Healy’s gorgeous, cloudy sigh weaving in and out of the beat.“

I'm good with the acoustic shit at this point, but the second track sounds pretty cool.

What???? You mean the entire album wasn’t going to be People??????

  23. I'm losing my mind over that possibility right now.

My biggest takeaway from that article is that, at the time of the interview, only four songs were complete ("or close to it"). That was just over a month and a half ago. So they're going to put out a 22 song album in five months but only 4 songs were done. Yikes.

Yeah...they definitely set themselves lofty targets.
