  4. You complain more often than the people that hate the band! It’s something new every single time I check this thread. :rotfl:

I think my only bad take is the closer on their debut bores me

Agreed. It's good, but kinda ends the debut in a whimper rather than with a bang

Huge reason I love this band as much as I do is because of their post-rock, ambient influence. I mean, Music For Cars is a direct Brian Eno reference lol. Whatever instrumental track they played at Reading before "Somebody Else" was great.

Directly before the track fades in when just the box is lit up pink?

If yes, that's an updated version of HNSCC.

I totally get the overplaying of the singles from ABI. That’s why I am restraining from listening to anything until NOACF is out. Sincerity Is Scary ended up being my favorite song on ABI and I am convinced it’s because it’s the only one I didn’t listen to. So I want it as fresh as possible. ABI also def has the best opener. Despite my whining about the mid section of iliwys, this is the best band around.

S/T is underrated for what it is. I think it gets put into Maroon 5- league cause their follow ups were so strong, but you could tell what they’re doing even back then.

I like it, but I certainly don’t love it. Not really sure why. Just doesn’t reach the upper echelon of songs on that album for me

Love it, also still feel like they took heavy influence from the Boys Next Door version of Shivers and that song is incredible.

Mike Stoklasa's Summary of Jurassic World

Surrounded is definitely one of my favorite songs on that album. That bass line that kicks in a minute or so in is sooo good.
