Amazing how much I hated "GYAT" at first, but now having heard it live and having gone absolutely mental, I love the track

 

the premiere of GYAT was something special

 

I now think its their best opener, depending on how PEOPLE goes. the lyrics are something else

 

it was/is an instant classic for them imo

Any chance they announce that the release date on Apple Music and such is a placeholder and it’s actually coming this year? Or have they specifically said the release date out loud somewhere that I’ve missed?

 

I've mentioned it before in this thread, but being on vacation in Hawaii and listening to the GYAT premiere on the way to take a tour through Kualoa Valley was a fucking moment for me

 

I gotta say, it feels real good to be back in a 1975 release cycle. They might be long, but they're so fucking fun

 

It definitely is imo.

 

GYAT is one of my favorite 1975 songs but I definitely didn’t think that on the first few listens. But when it clicked for me, it hit so hard.
