that complaint is funny because in the long run it doesn’t matter at all. Six years later does it matter that a third of ILIWYS was released or previewed live before the album dropped? No, nobody cares

jamie, let's not do a year long roll out this time. be cool man. cut that time in half at least.

 

Big Thief released like 8 singles before dropping their new album and I was literally all for it, I mean getting new music from a band you like should be welcomed regardless of *when* it is released. Plus as mentioned above no one is forcing you to listen to it.

Also I understand being frustrated about long album rollouts because I have been impatient before too but there's an abundance of other music out there, including this bands past discography, that you can always listen to to hold you over in the interim.

 

I mean, I’m still gonna listen to it no matter what so time really isn’t an issue unless it goes into like Chinese Democracy territory of time

 

I just want a single and to know what they’re going for on the album

idk why, but i have a really bad feeling about this upcoming record. something tells me it's going to be the birthday party x12. don't get me wrong, i love that song but a folk record is not what i want from this band.

 

I feel we are getting that too but who knows

Maybe it’s a hyperpop record.

 

I literally have no idea what type of record this is going to be it could be a post-rock hyper pop amalgamation with dancehall beats for all I know

there’s always like 50 different musical styles on their records too silly to be trying to pinpoint it down
