Nothing beyond that I don't believe.

 

I think it’s fair to be a little hesitant on supporting them since it’s come out that there are allegations against 3/4 members of this band. Even though it hasn’t been revealed what the allegations are, I understand people being weary on supporting them now.

I don't think they would be alleged if the Change.org description uses the term "credible" though

Also they (meaning whoever made the petition) said they were in contact with someone over at the BBC which I feel probably would not happen if the allegations were just "alleged"

Maybe, but it’s all there in the Change.org petition. Credible allegations against 3 of the members and someone at the BBC being involved. It could end up being nothing but my point was I understand people being a bit weary to support the band since that came out.

 

Listening to Notes again; man this thing is long

 

I should really go ahead and make my playlist for it.

There's been a handful of times I thought, "hey, I've got a long drive ahead of me. maybe i'll get through the whole thing before I get there!"

now i know where music for cars came from.

 

This album is great for working from home. I can vibe with the songs I like and let the ones I don't fade into the background

Is it insane to say that Phoebe is probably going to end up being more known/popular than The 1975 someday soon? I mean just thinking about how she was booked to open for them pre-pandemic is wild…

This isn’t a dig against The 1975 just an observation on Phoebe’s popularity

 

I think you may be right; at least here in the US her popularity is skyrocketing. Globally I think The 1975 are comfortably ahead

 

Still sad we didn't get the Finsbury Park show. Seeing them, Charli XCX and Phoebe Bridgers would have been so cool.
