The level of cheese on the new Night Game record is definitely higher than the debut, but um... yeah it fuckin' rules and I Feel Like Dancing is one of my favs

yeah I checked out the night game cause of all the 1975 comparisons. I dont get the comparisons and I dont think im a huge fan

 

I love the 1975 and the Night Game. They have some sonic likeness at times, but I don’t find them to be all that similar. If you don’t like “The Outfield” tho I’m not really sure what to make of that haha. I really enjoy their debut and need to check out this new one.

 

just to make it clear, I didn't say the bands are similar themselves, I said that one specific song sounds like one other specific song.

 

I didn’t think they sounded similar at all before and now that i’m actively listening for it I hear it even less haha

 

that logic doesn't really work, as ripoffs are are almost always worse than the original

I'm hoping for new songs, but the inclusion of No Rome, Charli and 1975 in that lists makes me think it might just be a remix of Spinning

Okay this is really weird but... did they change the voice on "The Man Who Married A Robot"? It sounds like a different rhythm.
