This is the single that was due in January - they said EP in February so I assume that’s pushed back. I just wish they’d just let us know what the actual plan is lol so frustrating

In defense of Hotel Apache, The 1975 didn’t invent this sound. They just do it the best currently.

I also find bands like Hotel Apache, joan, etc sound more boy band than 1975 does.

these guys have some promise to take "the 1975 formula" and do something unique with it. A lot of swagger to the insturmentals that reminds me of NVM's Thermal Memory from last year which is a must spin if you like this emo/posthardcore/80's rock inspo

parade of lights and hotel Apache are shameless lol. da22 is cool but just kinda sounds like an alt rock band. the strike is nice. everyone else just kinda sounds like indie pop bands imo
