It's an awesome album, it's a way better than A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships. 22 songs is a damn long album for the nowadays trends. But the great things is - you don't want to skip any of the songs.
So wild that The 1975’s discography has two songs about postpartum depression — one by Matty and one by his dad.
Been listening to this a lot lately as I’ve still yet to get my head around it. But I am comfortable saying that my favorite stretch of the album is Roadkill to Tonight. And that my favorite moment on the album is the “I feel so seen” bit from I Think There’s Something You Should Know.
All i can i really say at this point is that NOACF sits somewhere in the middle of their discography for me. This could change in a month or years time once i've fully got a grasp on it. It's a hefty listen that's for sure.
Watching the PlayStation 5 reveal stream and the intro music sounded straight off NOACF for a bit, pretty cool
If my fav songs from this album were Frail State Of Mind, Yeah I Know, Something You Should Know, Having No Head and What Should I Say, could anyone ITT please recommend other artists with a similar type of sound to those songs? (They kinda remind me of the DJDS album Big Wave More Fire which I also love, if that helps? IDK!)
Kind of cheating by embedding a compilation but it's a genre that was more prone to singles than albums
