I can’t for the life of me understand the appeal of “Medicine.” It’s one that I’ve never gotten. It just almost feels to me like a bland imitation of The 1975 instead of an actual song by them.

 

What are the tracklists for each side of the vinyl?

 

Man "Roadkill" is lowkey one of his best vocal performances on record

Agreed. I think that splits up really well.

 

I’m still getting into the album, but on first listen I really dislike the track listing. 3 of the first 5 tracks are slow instrumentals? Really?

i think 10-14 is when it hits a stride, but outside of “Too Shy”, 15-22 drags hard. I feel like there a great album somewhere in here, but things need to be cut and rearranged.

Maybe my opinion will change when I spend some more time with it.

 

The delivery on the "Hundred forty when I last got weighed and I'm gonna lose more by Saturday" line cracks me up... put on your best country boy front Matty lmao.

 

I thought 18-22 dragged at first, too. Now it’s seamless. Love that ending stretch.

 

That end can’t drag when What Should I Say is track 19!!!

 

What Should I Say might be my favorite track on this entire album. The Phoebe vocals and grooving marimba part.

 

One of my least favorite tracks on first listen- now top 3 tracks.

 

I actually think the last handful of tracks might be my favorite stretch of the album.

 

the end definitely drags for me but I'm sure that'll change with a few more listens
