I did not expect to be saying “God I want an EDM album from The 1975” in my life but that’s where I’m at with Notes

Frail State, Yeah I Know, I Think and Having No Head are getting heavy playtime right now and I’m so into it. It’s going to take months for me to figure out how I feel about the album but I’m happy I got something out of it I wasn’t expecting

the drums to People straight up sound like ripped from a NIN song

biggest question mark of the record on my first listen but by my third it’s one of the things I look forward to most about the back half bc it’s so fascinating and different sounding to me.

 

Does anyone in here have a Peleton? I was listening to Shiny Collarbone again and it sounds like the background music they use on the scenic rides haha

I think that sequence from TBP to JC2005 is probably the worst thing they’ve done. From the songs to the sequencing. I do not like it.
