I love this band as much as anybody else on this forum, but clearly I don’t put nearly as much stock into these flimsy release dates as you and others do. It’s not a discussion. It’s literally just complaining.
I forgot that people here aren’t allowed to complain about things. And I guess the irony of telling people to get a hobby over an internet forum is lost on you.
If these dates are so flimsy I’m of the opinion they just shouldn’t share them. Simple. You’re allowed to disagree and not care. But telling folk to get a hobby because of that is pretty arrogant.
It’s amazing how severely the internet has damaged people’s ability to actually have a conversation and not just talk at each other.
Reading this makes me think of the Comedy Bang Bang episode where The Vandals play "It's Got to Be Ska." Also, hoping for a country nod somewhere in the album.
Intrigued to see what the album cover will be. I was hoping among the lines of: Think this is among the coolest promos they’ve ever done.
The band don't owe us anything really, but I'm OK if we get this in 2019, which we almost certainly will. There's too much new music out there to be hung up on this imo.
love to get mad at people for not following through on their own personal project, not like life ever gets in the way nope just dumb dipshit Facebook friends being dumb!
One of my favorite things to do is show this band to someone over the age of 50 and get this exact exchange. Me: listen to this Them: oh I like it, what’s it called? Me: The 1975 Them: They should be called The 1985!
It’s fair to say that when people obsess/stan one thing that it’s kind of weird It’s also fair to say that when a band makes a big fuss about dates for music you wanna hear and then has no regard or reason for doing so that it’s kind of weird
