idk if this has been answered yet or not, but the album's length is 80:30. a standard CD can hold slightly less than 80 minutes exactly. did they have to shorten any songs or use overburn technology or anything for the CD version?
To be more specific the run from “Yea I Know” to “Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy)” is excellent. Only one listen though! I think the record sputters a little at the jump, I’m not too keen on the intro which is something I support but I have no reason to listen to it again tbh. Kind of wish the record just started with “People”.
yes lol. if i understood the events correctly, he drove an hour to target, bought the CD + cd drive and leaked it
Playing this again as I make some muffins and it’s sounding even better. hit that shit go hit that shit
Is anyone else feeling like this album as a whole feels “lighter” than ABI? Not like it is necessarily happier...though it might be. But like everything feels like I am just levitating. Just heard If You’re Too Shy for the first time and its as excellent as everyone is saying.
I remade the tracklist for myself. 1. The End 2. Frail State 3. Too Shy 4. Birthday 5. Then Because 6. Streaming 7. I Think There's 8. Roadkill 9. Me and You 10. Yeah I Know 11. What Should I Say 12. Bagsy 13. Nothing Revealed 14. Don't Worry 15. Having No Head
really didn't like the song when it was initially released it but it same, it really clicks now. same with People
J Bone! Can't wait to get his thoughts on his experience with the album - Friday's newsletter will be good
I’m surprised on how well this is flowing for me. I mentioned before that the first half of ABI’s flow isn’t my favorite- even though I love most of the songs (BMM can go). But everything here is just really working for me.
Every listen of "Nothing Revealed" I find myself pretending I'm singing along with the choir in my room, haha
No "People"? No dice. Also the album's been out for a few hours and people are already taking their scissors to it. I just find that funny. Haha, you're a completely different kinda listener than me. I need weeks with a full piece of art before I can think about how I'd change it, let alone just chopping it up. Heh.
