I don’t hate Be My at all, just felt like a clear oddity on that record. The ones in here and ILIWYS are much more integrated
It’s so long and I haven’t slept so I can’t even remember which ones I want to go back to or not. Forget ever knowing the song titles
This is the first album where the band doesn’t feel like they’re doing a pastiche of other music and so referential. Feels like a coming-of-age moment
That song should've just been a stand-alone thing they did between albums, like a single/political message/collab-thingy. Not part of an album.
