But it might leak, so might as well be on alert.

If the release date hadn't been moved so many times, and there be so many lead up singles I feel like the demand for a leak would be way less.

Funny, but it’s been done for quite some time. Matty has talked about handing it in a month or two ago. Vinyl has been pressed. Not quite the Kanye approach this time around.

I’m surprised that wasn’t the Irish times that gave it haha.

I like the mixed reviews. Its clear how subversive Matty wants the band to be and how future records will probably get even weirder. It'll be one of those "you either get it or you don't" type of records.

Yeah it seems like that review had a real problem with the idea of interludes and short breaks in an album where that’s exactly the type of shit that I love. I never really want albums that are just single after single. I need interludes and shorter tracks to make an album feel like an album — to give it cohesion and sound like something more than just a collection of greatest hits. My favorite album of all time is Blonde and I would never ever want you to take out things like “Facebook Story” or “Be Yourself” because regardless of how ridiculous they may be as standalone tracks, they are the exact reason that I love the album experience. I don’t even want ABI without the robot song - it needs to be there to make that album complete.

So in other words, sounds like i’m gonna love this record.

I wrote this review and I haven’t even heard it yet. The line of shopping through George’s demos had me dying but also shaking my head.

Fuckers shoulda released it on time lol

Reading the few reviews though, it appears as though my biggest fears are/were true - the vast majority of what hadn’t been heard are instrumentals, slower ballads, a limp to the finish, etc.

I’m just super excited for the hip-hop track everyone keeps referencing though

There’s roughly 9 or 10 proper songs to hear if my math is correct. I’ll take it.

Also, part of Streaming can be heard in the intro for the album version of The Birthday Party. It’s the same spacey piano that’s heard in the outro.

  19. For me personally, generally, a 15 track album with 3 interludes would be just right, I think. But we'll see how this goes.

Yeah I don’t mind interludes one bit. But if it means all that’s left is like two full songs with vocals or so that they haven’t released for streaming then that’s disappointing for me personally

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

A lot of people don’t like the electronic aspect of the band but that’s probably my favorite part, so this album seems like a dream. I know this will not be the case for a lot of fans lol

Yeah it seems like there’s plenty of vocal driven songs left that haven’t been heard.

Funny to see people have an issue with this band doing interludes since they’ve been doing them since the EPs and self titled

I’m all for it. This band hasn’t let me down yet and I doubt they’re going to start now

Loved the self-titled interludes! Got a bit much for me with the second album though.

I very rarely listen to complete albums when I listen to this band and tend to jump around, so the placement/inclusion of instrumentals doesn’t really bother me.
