If I were them I’d be like: listening party this Sunday night for a vip 100 bucks a head. They’d kill it.
That’s a good look for the physical release, but I’m glad the digital release is still the old artwork.
And, if it were to leak this weekend, honestly, probably wouldn’t spend that much time w/ it right away. Finally spending time w/ Petals for Armor, which is so good, & that Charli album is also dope. I’d be happy to wait a little longer (which is funny to say given this album’s release journey).
I’m gonna get to Charli but Haylie’s stuff doesn’t do dick for me. I’d push both aside for this record though - no hesitation.
Sure, but you also have a 1975 fixation, right? Like, I imagine you’d sacrifice almost every person in your life for the opportunity to listen to this band (& complain about ‘em), lol.
I absolutely love the layout of the physical release. I haven’t bought a record in years (and have sold or given away pretty much my entire collection), but I ended up splurging on the mega bundle with all the physical copies of the album and stuff just bc I love the layout of it.
we’ll see if that ever actually comes to fruition, they might just get distracted by whatever current musical projects they’ve immersed themselves in. matty talks in interviews as if Notes is kinda behind them lmao. he sounds like almost detached(?) from it.
Is the sweet looking white deluxe vinyl for i love you when... still available? I couldn’t seem to find it with a google search. I’m also a lazy noob.
I am really interested to see if they pull off this sequencing on this. So far we know how it starts, but then based on the reviews it goes right into an orchestral piece, then FSOM - which people tell me is a glitchy electronic pop song to an ambient piece to TBP to another mostly-instrumental electronic song with Yeah I Know.
Ja Ja Jamie is back to posting snippets of the vinyl on his instagram story. Only the intro though so far
