So far, indications are that Having No Head, Streaming, and The End (Music For Cars) are the only instrumental tracks.
Both The End AND Streaming are instrumental? So the album kicks off with People then goes into a block of slower/ambient/instrumental tracks??
I suppose so haha. I haven't heard any of the tracks yet, but I'll be interested to see how they pull this off. I love HTD/P, but I did always thing it was put in a weird spot on the album.
Yeah looks like there’s a japanese bonus track. I’m also starting to get a fear of this thing being way too bloated.
I’ve heard People probably 10 times, FSOM 5 times, every other single once or twice. Haven’t heard Guys and won’t until the album.
Haven't listened to one new song yet. Didn't want anything spoiled. I did hear them play the intro and People live once when I saw them in Camden, but I don't remember what it really sounds like.
Maybe I'll get drunk and live post my first reactions going into this completely blind when this leaks/releases.
so far i've listened to Me & You Together and If You're Too Shy a couple times each and FSOM like 20x, one of my top songs of the year. avoided everything else though
These listening parties have been so cool. What a great way to lead into release week. This new album is going to destroy me.
They were confused by it winning a grammy but aside from maybe LIIWMI, this is the most deserving. Absolutely beautiful song, and far and away my favorite opener.
