Not into this at all. It really doesn't sound finished to me, the vocals are so quiet in the mix. 2/3 for me though and with another 18 songs to go I'm still confident I'll like the album.
Yeah, this song is nice. Not as good as FSOM imo but still very good - it's another one of those songs where you feel like you can pinpoint 2 or 3 different bands that have influenced it yet at the same time it just sounds like 100% The 1975 (despite it not really sounding like anything they've done before?!). Great stuff.
Yeah, I'm absolutely digging this. 3/3 for me so far. I was having a "meh" day until I listened to this.
Very much into them sounding like a rock band again. The production is kind of thin, but it's a nice song.
no kidding, this album is shaping up to be one of the most complex pieces of pop culture in recent years. the songs released so far don't really vibe with each other on a surface level, but they also kinda do??, and it's touching on so many topics at once, calling out boomers for the burden being placed by them on millennials and gen Z, both through climate change and horrible, abusive upbringings that alienate us to the point of not wanting to try anymore, BUT it's also pushing us to not "lie behind [our] frail state of mind". now there's also putting all that to the side and just embracing love if it's right in front of you, which relates to FSOM and People in its own way that's not even 25% of the album out, mind you i thought the rollout was messy too but now it just feels that there's a fucking behemoth in the making and we're not ready for it yet
The fact that People, Frail State of Mind, and now Me & You Together Song are on the same album is fucking bananas.
I still can't believe GYAT, HTD/Petrichor, It's Not Living, Mine, and I Like America are all on the same album lol we can say this about almost all their albums, its a 1975 staple
Could be different presales. Usually the “preorder” presale comes first with a unique code, and then there’s an “artist” presale the next day with a general code.
it sounds like this one will be their most eclectic yet, based on that interview. they want it to encompass the sounds of the three previous albums.
considering he wants to do a psychological comedy or something like that I'd dig haha edit: its ok lol
